Training and support
Swisher has the best support ratios in franchising with 2 franchisees to each member of Corporate staff (the national average is 7:1). We provide excellent initial training both in the classroom and on territory.
We also have a comprehensive and extensive ongoing training programme, which includes Sales, Service, Management, Finance, Staff Management, PR & Marketing, IT & Internet, Quality Control and Customer Care training. There is a Swisher training taking place somewhere in the UK every week of the year.
This support starts even before you join the Swisher network as we will assist you with your business plan, introduce you to the funding sources (with whom we have an excellent relationship) and provide ongoing guidance and support to ensure that you are making the right decision.
When you join Swisher, we will assist you with the recruitment, selection and training of your management staff and work closely with you to ensure that they are achieving optimum performance. Swisher Corporate also provides centrally all of your invoices and statements. We will also assist with debt collection and act as a Call Centre for our franchisees and their customers.
Who’s ideal for us
Swisher is a management franchise and each territory has the potential to grow into a multi-million pound turnover business. Accordingly, Swisher franchisees tend to have previously run successful businesses or have been senior managers or directors. They are high achievers who have the vision, focus and desire to work hard in order to build a substantial business.
Swisher awards exclusive 500,000 population territories which have between 10,000 – 20,000 potential customers. It is impossible to reach customer saturation within your territory, and a £500,000 turnover Swisher franchise should only have about 6 service staff and 350 customers.
